For the past five
years a lot has been happening at Visual
WWW. A new Barcode Labor
System 2.0 was designed and developed for Visual
Manufacturing system users. A lot of clients requested
VB.NET development and training for their production business
applications and employees. The "Visual
WWW .NET Training Pack" was implemented in many of

Medical Solutions contracted Visual
WWW to upgrade their Barcode
Labor System 2.0 for Visual
Manufacturing system. The main upgrades include On-Off
Hold Work Orders, Production Machine ID barcode implementation
and much more. Sandvik
is a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products
and a world-leading position within selected areas. Sandvik's
business concept is based on a unique competence in materials
technology. This has resulted in a world-leading position
in three core areas: 1. Cemented-carbide and high-speed steel

Visual WWW was hired by Voter
Power to develop and host their website. Voter Power is
leading the effort to protect Oregon Medical Marijuana Act
(OMMA) and improve our marijuana laws. Voter Power is also
working to provide safe access for patients through a regulated
medical marijuana supply system-a system that will establish
a program to assist patients in need and generate millions
of dollars in state revenue. We also run clinics across the
state, helping patients register with the Oregon Medical Marijuana
Program (OMMP).

Power and Conservation Council to upgrade Olivia windows
application program. Olivia is a statistic modeling tool whose
features include the ability to create Crystal Ball aware
Excel workbooks that run under OptQues t /CB Turbo. This tool
was developed using VB 6.0 / Access / Excel for identifying
risk-constrained, least-cost plans, etc.

School District 549C, Grants
Pass School District No.7 and Three
Rivers School District to design and develop a unique
SQL Server 2000 database to meet all the business requirements
for each district. SISnet Student database project included
table definition and documentation, views, stored procedures,
user-defined functions, triggers, cursors, as well as business
rules implementation at the database engine level. Visual
WWW provided the best .NET programming practices to
design and implement the SISnet Student Search window. This
window was implemented and tested using SQL Server 2000 stored
procedures / ADO.NET / XML technologies.

School District 549C hired Visual
WWW to help design and develop the “Secondary
Teacher's Grade Book” Internet web application. This
application was developed in ASP.NET / SQL Server Microsoft
technology. Version 1.0 of the application allows teachers
to enter new assignments, edit and delete assignments, and
enter individual scores for them.
Oct/2002-2003
Visual WWW was hired by Hewlett-Packard
Co., Corvallis Campus to provide high-level courses in
the practical development of production ASP.NET / SQL Server
2000 / Oracle/Informix Internet web applications. The “Visual
WWW .NET Training Pack” was applied for the first
time and proved to be an excellent learning experience for
Hewlett-Packard IT Employees.
Kroger
- Fred Meyer, Inc. (Stored Scheduling Department) hired
Visual WWW to develop a "Labor
Management Criteria Maintenance System" and teach his
employees with the latest Windows programming .NET technologies.
The “Visual WWW .NET
Training Pack” has been implemented for Windows
application development using VB.NET 2005 / IBM DB2 Universal
Database 7.1.

Medical Technologies to teach and mentor his IT employees
with the latest of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and Oracle
Database Server 9i technologies. The “Visual
WWW .NET Training Pack” was implemented for Windows
application development using VB.NET 2005 / Oracle 9i Database
Server / Crystal Report 11.

School District 549C hired Visual

Visual WWW designed and developed
a new Barcode Data Engine
for Visual
Manufacturing system using Oracle Server 9i. The Barcode
Data Engine collects the data from employee barcode operations
and generated three types of transactions: Labor Tickets,
Scrap/Rework/Blend, or Time and Attendance. The employee barcode
operations are entered and validated using the Barcode Client
Windows application. Both components, the Barcode Client and
the Engine, are parts of the new Barcode
Labor System 2.0 developed by Visual
WWW. The Barcode Labor
System 2.0 is a real-time business database windows application
for entering, tracking and reporting employee activity in
a manufacturing environment. The system was specifically designed,
developed and implemented for Visual
Manufacturing system software users.

The Barcode Labor System (designed for a manufacturing environment)
is a customizable, real-time database windows application
for tracking employee labor and producing management and human
resources reports. The system was implemented for the first
time at DONCASTERS -
PED Manufacturing Ltd. This company produces high-specification
investment alloy castings for the medical industry and other
clients.
Visual WWW provides free Internet
consulting services to Hillsboro
Young Life organization. Visual WWW develops and maintains
monthly Hillsboro Young Life website and newsletter. Young
Life is a non-denominational, Christian, non-profit organization
that is committed to introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ
and helping them grow in their faith. Young Life staff and
leaders are caring adults who strive to build positive relationships
with teenagers.
Through friendships as well as through club, Campaigners and
camp, Young Life leaders get to know teenagers and gain their

emotional support, free pregnancy testing, and maternity and
baby clothes. We also give information and referrals to help
clients meet legal, medical, financial, and housing needs.

Elementary School Technology Committee (Hillsboro
School District 1J). The Technology Committee meets once
a month to evaluate school technology issues concerning computer
software and hardware, etc. As a member, Visual
WWW provides free software and hardware technical support
services to Eastwood
Elementary School. This helps Eastwood Elementary teachers
and students achieve their information technology educational
goals.
Dr. Ernest Bonat, Ph.D.of Visual WWW participated at Portland's PHP User Group with presentation topic “Executing MySQL Stored Procedures in PHP Web Applications”. This presentation covers advanced SQL:2003 programmin, stored procedures advantages and disadvantages, and it also provides stored procedures examples for SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE records. An intranet Human Resource web application was demo to show how to design, code and execute MySQL stored procedures using PHP. and Developing N-Tiers ASP.NET Internet Web Applications”.
The fundamental topics covered by this seminar included: Business
entity definition, organization and purpose (GUI Presentation,
Business Logic and Database Store components); DLL components
design and development in Visual Studio .NET; XML Document
as a main data marshalling between components (XML Document
returned from SQL Server 2000); fast data retrieval using
XML Documents and fast data transaction using stored procedures;
Garbage Collector as a .NET Framework memory management process;
Declaring, initializing and destroying custom DLL component
objects in Visual Studio .NET, etc. The seminar was of interest
to the developers’ who attended as it showed them how
to design and develop complex ASP.NET Internet web applications
using Visual Studio .NET 2003 / SQL Server 2000.
Dr. Ernest Bonat, Ph.D. will start teaching a new course for Windows Applications Developers “Database Windows Applications Development Using MySQL and VB.NET”.
